Magical Minutiae

The bold and bright are always competing for your attention, just as the big issues are undeniable and demand your time and focus. But, it is the little things that often go undetected, which sneak up on you, reminding you of the beauty all around.  When you open yourself to this possibility, an infinite world of the minutiae becomes accessible...all you have to do is slow down enough and go deeper into the crooks and crannies.  Once you enter this reality, your life will be painted anew with an entire universe previously uncharted.

There are so many things vying for our attention, both in our ordinary lives and in nature.  In the world of nature we are often drawn to the animals, trees, water, and flowers who all but yell, "Look at me!"  Many never get beyond those cries because our senses are overwhelmed by what they promise us...serenity, beauty, power, messages and more.

In addition, most people journey in nature to accomplish some task such as how fast they can make it around a certain trail.  Or, if you're just out to enjoy the day your attention is often captured by conversations or what you have to do as you sacrifice the present for something that is in the past or may never happen in the future.

For those select few who can unshroud themselves from all those distractions...another reality awaits, especially if they can slow down and be in gratitude.  Suddenly, as though the curtain has been pulled back from our eyes, the infinite is unveiled...look more closely, underneath and in between and magically, it appears.  Once you have been invited in, this world is always available to you and nothing is ever the same.  May you be blessed with this affliction and joy!
